Mette Højen Wiik

Mette is an expert in leadership communication and human impact — known for bringing both brain, heart, and strong execution into play.

She helps leaders communicate clearly, stand firmly, and engage people — even when pressure rises, and the room gets big. Mette’s approach is strategic, sharp, and deeply human: She makes the complex simple, the abstract concrete, and ensures that the message lands.

Mette holds an MA in Rhetoric and has more than 15 years of experience advising and training top executives, leadership teams, and global companies. Her method originates from a life with music — she began playing the trumpet at the age of 8 — and later from the work of transferring the principles of the orchestra and the conductor to modern leadership.

She is the author of the book: Business Rhetoric – How to Turn Words Into Gold, a valued practical guide for leaders and teams who want to get the most out of everyday meetings, conversations, and presentations.

Mette is also the host of the podcast Topchefernes Playliste at Finans, where she explores how music, leadership, and human performance are connected.
